4 engines gone all crankshaft failures.
Yikes. Just too many mistakes from Ford teams and drivers. Can't see Leethal getting invited back. Chaz was unlucky the camera was on him when Lee spun. |

The only saving grace for Lethal, is that the car managed to finish the race.
I am not a lip reader, but I got the gist of what Mostert muttered! |

Seems guys like Luffy, Druss and so on can keep sharp without doing a lot of racing miles but then there's other guys who seem to make mistakes once they are about 18 months out of full time driving.
The conditions were tricky that looked ordinary. |

Time certain finish yet again. Did the new safety car rules take longer than they expected ? They seemed to take forever to restart from a yellow. Still don't understand why they don't start the race 30 minutes earlier. Not good enough for our supposed premier racing series.

Just call it the Sandown 5 hour and be done with it.

I think employers are expecting less absolute speed out of a David Russell vs. a Holdsworth. So pressures on the driver are different.

Anyone notice the Tradie car weaving around whilst the lucky dog process was underway and safety car lights out? No penalty?
Commentators were either blind or chose not to call it out on air. |

I disagree with this. It should come off (with a 15 second warning, if needed) as soon as the danger is cleared |

Kostecki though did, he could have turned left down the old track and parked safely, but he went straight past it and stopped in a dangerous spot. It’s not new though, modern drivers have no race awareness these days, just park it wherever and cause a safety car |

Or am I confusing this with the 12 hour? |
