Pantano may have won the championship in Germany, but look how well Friesacher and Toccacelo have done in F3000 testing so far with the Red Bull and Coloni teams!

Friesacher was third overall at Estoril, and Toccacelo was fifth in Barcelona. Mind you, fair play to Pantano for being quickest overall in one of the seesions - that's not bad at all.

So c'mon then, tell me who you think will win the championship in 2001??

On present form it has to be Bernoldi.. or perhpas it's time for Manning to really shine.. I hope o.

Bernoldi's times have been pretty irratic in the tests so far - it seems he puts in a blindingly quick lap on the first day, but then never really reaches that pace again. Mind you, even on his 'slower' pace at Estoril he was still fastest.

As for Manning, I think last year was a huge disappointment after the form he showed at Silverstone at the start of the year. He never got close to that again, apart from perhaps the A1 Ring, where he clearly cheated (straightlining first chicane)to jump from about 20th on the grid to 9th, or something silly like that.

I think that both Nordic cars have been so high up in both tests is pretty good, I reckon they'll be a team to watch in the coming season.
