Trying to get any background info from Elise drivers in general, as to what they think of their car. Possible purchase in a few months......

From what I've heard from owners, they are a whole heap of fun! Although it does take a good ten min. to fit the soft top. My view is dont bother, drive fast enough and the rain will not get in, anyway there arn't any carpets to get ewt in the origonal version!

Ah yes, but you can get an optional clip on hard top that's apparently much easier than the stupid fabric roof.

Hey, have you seen the ltd edition 111s?? You can get them either in Lotus yellow/green, gold leaf red/white/gold or (best of all) JPS black/gold!!

I've seen one in the red/white/gold- very nice indeed. Also, the green/yellow suits the car very well

Not so keen on either yellow black or red and gold. the powder blue takes my vote, looks sooo much better with the smoked glass on the headlights. take a look at the following site.. http://www.lotuscars.com/pic1.jpg

The Green/ Yellow car is awesome, a neighbour of mine has one and I would definately pick that colour if I was buying one.

Had an old red one outside the house yesterday, well three years old, it looked rather nice in red.....Mmmm another colour to consider....
