the 2 gatorade 125's - both were great races and the new aero package that nascar has brought in sure will produce a great daytona 500 .

Both great races. I watched the first one on my lunch break at work. My boss is a Jeff Gordon fan and I'm an Earnhardt fan, so near the end, that got interesting.

I had to wait until I got home after 9 p.m. to watch the second race on tape. I'm glad I did. What a race. I hope the 500 is half as exciting.

Normally, I would be there at the race, the 125's being one of few races I actually attend. I went last year and nearly fell asleep, the races were so boring. This year, I didn't want to pay $100 for a seat. I'm thinking of writing NASCAR and demanding a refund for my ticket from last year's race. God, I wish I had gone this year.

So, who looks to have the edge for the 500?

I got to see the last of the first race and all of the second. Both were very good races and it does appear that NASCAR has solved the problems with lack of passing on the plate tracks from last year.

I didn't get to see DJ's wreck. What happened?
