When was the last lights-to-flag victory before France 2003?
That means starting from pole and leading the whole way including the pit stops. I'm not sure but my guess would be Barrichello at Hungary 2002.

Prior to Magny-Cours there hadn't been any lights to flag wins this year.
Last year there were 3 lights to flag wins; Michael S (Barcelona) Coulthard (Monaco) Barrichello (Nurburgring) Ralf S led 1 lap in Hungary in 2002 during pitstops. (source: Autocourse 2002/3) Last edited by x_dt; 11 Jul 2003 at 19:31. |

Michael Schumacher, Barcelona 2002.
After that two drivers led every lap of the race last year, but neither started from pole (Coulthard/Monaco and Barrichello/Nürburgring) At Hungary, Ralf led one lap and Rubens led one lap in Spa and Suzuka. Otherwise those races were led by a driver who started from pole and won. |
