I was reading about that guy in the papers in the days after the race. I was surprised to learn that he comes from a place only 3 miles or so from my house.
Who said that Kerry couldn't produce a Grand Prix star? Religion has a lot to answer for. |

I don't think its really sensible to blame that on religion - no question that religion has led to a lot of atrocities, but that was clearly the act of an unstable individual (ie he could've just as well been advocating green men from uranus as much as reading the bible, or whatever it was)
Livened up what was already a pretty exciting race though - the only thing more we could have asked for was rain in the last 20 laps |
