Hey im new and i need help
Hi im from Puerto Rico and i have a Renault R5 turbo with a few upgrades like a hybird 300 turbo Ktec intercooler ktec manifold forged pistons push rods forged valve covers etc... my car is responding ok but since i changed the cam gears to some bigger lighter ones ive feel like im loosing power any idea off why and what do u recomend that i do

Have you checked to make sure that one of the cams is not installed one tooth off? Changing to lighter gears should only affect the speed at which the engine accelerates due to less rotating mass. If you have one of the cams slightly off, all the benefits would be lost due to the valve timing being off. Just a thought. Robert

Mr rocket.. good choice of car...i cant help with ya problem, but you could try the R5 turbo owners club loads of people on there that know there turbo's inside out

thanks it was a problem with the timing but i still was loosing power so i just put the stock one on and gain back what i lost new hint for all u guys i recomend living stock cams and turbo cars it works better its the second time its happend
