Redracer77 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Northwest driver shows well in Zetecs

I was pleased to see NWFF runner up Stuart Gough had a very solid couple of races in the Zetec Winter series with a 5th and a 6th after little or no testing and never having raced at Snetterton or a Zetec before. Could he be a dark horse for next years main championship?

That might be a bit optimistic but with a bit of luck he will run fairly near the front. Largely depends on what entries are received for the championship next year.

Stuart seemed to beat some experienced guys there, so if was his first time at Snett he did damn well overall.

kartingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
First time in the car, first race in a Zetec, first time at Snetterton. Also suffering from a nasty bug which saw him racing while signed off sick for two weeks and at the end of a 2 week course of antibiotics.(Sports medicine - not)>

He could hardly get out of the car at the end of testing, never mind race day he was so bushed, poor kid.

He was mixing it with the big boys in qualifying, getting towed along for several laps by the JLR boys. He was in 4th during qualifying for about 2/3 of the session, only getting pipped by a tenth on the very last lap to end up 5th.

End of advert!!!

Stu was driving an '03 VD for Kevin Mills racing. Boy, does that guy work hard. His 2 crew Brian and Daz were pretty smart as well.

Mr Mills was walking round with the biggest smile i've seen for a long time.

Er, I'm afraid that the timing was a bit awry over the weekend with several errors. I think you will find he was in the 12's. Best look at the MST website.

Why on earth they don't use transponders beats me.

Nevetheless, it could bode well for the re emergence of Swift as a competitive force.

It will be a 'works' effort, with the team manager being the bloke that used to run Alain Menu.

They are developing the car and running it as well. Stu is testing the car over the winter and racing it next year.

Kevin has the ex Marko Asmer (allegedly) car, and very nice it is too!
