they might as well lock him up to stop anyopne else using him, unless they loan him out to smaller teams he's not going to get any more racing experience! |

I have heard about some drivers signing management contracts for 15 years in the past, but not a team contract. Doesn't European contract law prohibit contracts of length over 5 years or something?

Piquet is not lying. He's doing everything supporting his son's career. He said if didn't see him as a racer, he wouldn't do it. Remember that this guy speaks out loud what he wants and he's very smart. After his retirement his business has increased millions and millions under his management.
