The start of the season was odd anyway: A season opener on February and then 2 months wait for the next race on April?!

its not a bad thing but come on cart give us some positive news about team line up next year and add a euro date i recommend sliverstone or rockingham

Tim Mayer has been hired away by IMSA, though certainly his roles with CART had diminished.
http://www.imsaracing.net/imsaNS.cfm...382024ALMS.htm He has worked in many areas of the racing business and was associated with CART from 1997 until this year, serving as Vice-President of Race Operations and later as Vice-President of Promoter Operations. For most of 2003, he worked as a contractor with CART and was responsible for design, promotion and operation of CART’s two European races, as well as coordination of CART’s international TV programming. |

Sucks, but not unexpected. Posponed is the nice way of saying cancelled. Strap yourself in CART fans, I don't think this is going to be the last race cancellation for the next season.
