Yet again we have people taking a look at a few pictures and dismissing a car!

The car has a very ince "standard 2003" look - nothing really that new, apart from combining the best of the 2003 cars.

We'll see if it delivers and I hope it does, beacuse more competition the better.

Pardon me, but i seriously think that the car looks better on the left than on the right!

After the Williams and Mclaren, i must say i'm not to excited over the launch of Sauber (a Ferrari copy) and now Toyota (a Ferrari-Renault copy).

However, it is indeed comforting to know that more effort has been put into their car making it more "individual" and mere "inspired by others" this year.

And copying (not stealing) is afterall the best compliment.

One thing that strikes me is how "thick" this car looks. Unlike Mclaren, which maximises every part and looks pencil sharp and thin, this car carries front wings and side pods which looks chunky. Perhaps, it's the paint or just simply this is a launch model with dud parts.

It's still a pity that the huge money invested by Toyota doesn't seem to make much difference.

If the car is fast thats all that matters. It is not a radical departure from last years car which would suggest they believe the car was fundamentally sound. Lets see how they go. Again they understate their goals. First year they just wanted to qualify. Second year they just wanted to finish races. This year they hope to finish in the points. At least its the right direction. They spend a lot of money, they need to begin to really challenge the front runners. The team is set up so safely to save face. Soon they will need to begin to take chances and endure some emberrassement to make the extra step.

Last6 year it was a erd and white Ferrari. This year "we will be mostly copying," Williams. Last years that is.
