kartingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Charity Kart race was a success

Well done Chris on a brilliant event at 3 Sisters earlier today. We ought to have an end of season on as well!

I think everyone had a great time, with most of the racing being very clean (apart from me).

Congratulations to the boys from the shandy drinking part of the country - to make the trip so far north for an afternoon was a notable effort. Well done guys.

I'm off now for a hot bath a quick rub down with Fiery Jack and a mug of cocoa. Fairy said he'd be round about 7. (Ian, on the other hand got out of the Kart after 55 mins and looked like he'd driven to the shops, the fit git).

I second that. Still have not got the grin off my face. From a marshalls point of view it was an eye opener as how quick all you guys and girls are when racing and the importance of clear flag signals.
From my point of view absolutly gutted to just miss out on lapping in less than a minute. However thanks to Chris and everyone involved had a great time now hope to do it again. Now I shall hit the shower and relax.
See you all Oulton

Cheers guys it was a great day and enjoyed by all. I think would have been fighting for a podium if we had not lost 15 mins with having to change the wheel after Tony got hit by a lapped car...!

It was not the crash fest that everyone was expecting!!! Some good driving was seen (as well as some bad).

It was great to watch Jody from UCLAN, Tony from Redracers and Stu Gough battle it out over the first 30 or so minutes. All 3 drivers have big years this year with Jody and Stu in Formula Renault and Tony in a Dodge Viper in the British GT's so good luck to you all.

Yes, thanks Chris. A brilliant event and even team Journo didn't disgrace ourselves too much. Just as well we had that ringer though!

Well done to Chris, ARDS and all the teams.

It was a great race with some very good drivers (and some very very bad ones) plus teams all very fair THIS WAS A BIT SUPRISING. It was my 1st proper kart race in 10 years and I forgot until yesterday how enjoyable karting can be so put me down for the next one.

Tony

I nearly forgot ?

Chris did a great middle stint (not bad for a fat lad from Bolton) to take us from last place to 11th in 40 minutes after I tripped over a kart while lapping it. Then Jon Lang pushed every lap to get us in to the top ten by taking the Jurno car at the last corner.

Well done to the top 3 all on the same lap after 2 hours this shows the qualtiy in those teams.
