sad, isn't it? they keep on getting shoved around by a little weed in a minardi (love ya really fernando ), and there's nothing they can do.
i can't stop laughing at jenson button. it's time he learnt what life as a gp driver's really like (cue violin solo from ricardo zonta... ) |

I think if DC were in the car, the results would be pretty much the same. Perhaps he would even finish ahead of Fernando, occasionally!
Dooly, you've got to get control of your hate-on for DC. It's clouding your judgement, such as it is. Good luck with Renault, renaultbel. |

Fingers Crossed !!!
Benetton technical director Mike Gascoyne is optimistic the team is well on its way to sorting out the problems. He has promised the team will make a huge leap forward at the French Grand Prix at the very start of July.
He told the BBC: "You'll see big steps coming on the engine around Magny-Cours, Silverstone time. Renault are very confident, making a lot of progress, the same is true of the chassis as well." Let's hope so ! |

If the problem lies in an inherent imbalance in the engine, then the suspensions is also affected as the rear suspension components are bolted directly onto the engine. I would dearly love to know what Renault are going to spring on us in July that will solve their problems.

What if they find this 111-degree thing DOESN'T ACTUALLY WORK?? Will they "do a Jaguar" and go back to basics (again)??

Renault will gear themselves up and come up with better engines next year. otherwise, what is the point of returing to f1? Their performance is hurting their image.
