When I look on the japanes Kondo website, I see the western word "RfH" in the specification table of the Kondo Dome. Can somebody say in which context the word "RfH" is used in this table? Managed by RfH? Supported by RfH? I'm curious... Ofcourse, we know of the test a few weeks ago with the Kondo Dome and the RfH crew... |

Well Wallace has been out in the Zytek at Snetterton today and will be driving it at Le Mans (according to Autosport). His co-drivers will be the old RfH drivers Gabbiani and Ortiz!
Are we looking at only one Dome even if another entry drops out? Although Lammer's says he is still talking to a lot of drivers (although there is still a seat in the first car). Still both Lammer's and Wallace will be at Le Mans, it is just a shame they won't be working together. You never know with a little help from the racing gods we may get them racing each other (closely) on track. |

Kondo also bought the in-house developed AGS system (Automatic Gear Shift). The other day when Kondo were here in Holland and also in Belgium they were testing the new system (based on an electrical model car servo motor... ) |

It´s official now:
Racing for Holland today announced that Chris Dyson, the 2003 American Le Mans Series LMP 675 champion, will join Lammers’ Racing For Holland team at the June 12-13 running of the sportscar endurance classic. Dyson recently completed a two-day test of the team’s Dome S101-Judd at Le Circuit Paul Ricard in southern France. |

Who is the most likely third driver for that car? Any guesses? Too bad it's not Wallace. Lammers-Wallace-Dyson would have been a strong car. But that's not to be. Your thoughts?
Side question, did Dyson pay for that seat? Furthermore, could we see Dyson in the RfH car at some LMES events? I believe the schedule does not directly clash with the ALMS schedule. Last edited by jhansen; 16 Apr 2004 at 17:28. |

Last year RfH could enter 2 cars in FIASCC because of the money from John Bosch (1st car) and Ortiz and Gabbiani (2nd car). This year RfH has not such drivers...so I am afraid.... |

A mate of mine just told me that when Wallace was asked about the other drivers in the Zytek , he appeared to dodge the question . I never have seen misical chairs like this before !!! I wonder what this means ?

Pay drivers aren't a bad thing. There are 50 cars to get on the grid and a small part of them are manufacturer supported.
It has always been this way. In the really old days most were people just taking there cars along to do Le Mans. Besides the pay drivers dream of racing in the greatest race too. |

Maybe this thread should be renamed:

Zytek drivers confirmed by whom? Andy Wallace is not at Magny-Cours this week, he's at Mid-Ohio, testing the Crawford and the Dyson Lola.
David Brabham was at Magny-Cours yesterday, testing the Zytek.... all on dailysportscar, even the hint that Andy wasn't prepared to state who his partners would be at Le Mans on Sunday. MC |

But we can't expect the same performance from them then from a professionnal. If they share a very fast car, the performance could be less interresting than, at least, with a professionnal in the team. But for now I'm glad to have them ; and if they're experienced, that's even better. |

Either when I receive a return phone call, or when everyone involved agrees on a plan. The above is the limit of known, confirmed news at the moment.

This ia an update to the link that was posted previously on this alleged news about Wallace joining Zytek... they added the info about Wallace being at Mid-Ohio, and Brabham driving at Magny-Cours, based on correspondence they received from a reader... It is from www.imsr.net (I hope this is properly credited to suit everyone).... Herre is a paste-in of what imsr's notice said (including the editor's note): Sports car stalwart Andy Wallace will make his 16th Le Mans start this June as a member of the Zytek team. The 43-year-old, who won Le Mans with Jaguar in 1988, will also run next month’s Monza 1000K Le Mans Endurance Series race as a tune-up for Le Mans. “It was a quick car last year, and with some of Zytek’s developments, it should be even quicker this year,” said Wallace. “Speed-wise, we should be right up there.” **lmsr.net viewer correction.*** I received this e-mail today for clarification: "I read news on Wallace. I have information that he test cars in US.(Lola andCrawford) now. He will fly back to Europe tomorrow for LM test day. Zytek 04S car is tested at Magny by David Brabham !!!" Many thanks to the viewer for the correction and info!!!! Wallace will share the car with Beppe Gabbiani and Felipe Ortiz, who drove for Jan Lammers’ Racing for Holland Dome team last year. ________________________________________________________________ Where will Wallace share the car with Gabbiani and Ortiz??? The Test Day and the Race at LM??? Or is he now going back over to Europe to Magny-Cours? BTW...that's the "whom" that apparently issued this information, eddsc....imsr.net for whatever it is worth... I don't see a specific source that www.imsr.net cites....nothing in thier text about exactly "whom" gave them this information... Wallace??? (Maybe, because they quoted him somehow...but he was in Mid-Ohio...which might lead us to...) a Zytek spokesman or and "Offical" news release from Zytek??? (unless they made up a quote from Wallace...) a "little birdie" in a tree???? (Bet he's tired after flying all the way from Mid-Ohio to the imsr.net offices just to give them Wallace's quote) But they (imsr.net -- the "whom") posted it.... |

The "Link" I posted (imsr) must be "dedicated to me personally" and "IMSR" is an acronym for: "Idiots Make Stupid Replies".... they will be releasing the the new "Northcutt Screwed Up Another One" Calendars for 2005 at the end of the year... sorry about the bad link.... |
