Rockingham's average lap speed isn't that quick (International circuit anyway), but there's quite a bit of stop/start which probably wouldn't help consumption.

sorry, not thinking again...... no change there then I hear.
No, as DSM says, last year we had a 20 min race at Snett and it was a problem. I think those with the very new tanks and/or the additional tank will be ok, but never driven rockingham, so not 100% sure. |

Will probably take part as its cheap testing time... and aparently as rockingham is so flat it really needs learning.

def agree that us jedi's should be given garages. i did ask BRSCC two weeks ago but they had been given to the sports 2000's. Each car takes up double the space coz the bodywork comes off in one piece. However, they did say they are looking at giving us garages at other races because we are so consistent with large grids.

Garages would be nice. We could easily get two cars per garage especially at places like Brands and Silverstone. Would stop all these holding paddock problems too. Getting 32 cars into the holding paddock at Snett took forever. No-ones fault mind you, just lots of cars needing to be positioned.

Garages will not help the space requirements of 30+ cars at Brands. You wil still have to go to the holding paddock for grid position allocations. Although, I like the idea of garages, got to be warmer to sleep in than our awning! Shame you wont be at Silverston Jonathan

Oh well, didnt realise we would still have to use holding paddock... huf. But yes, garages would keep the weather at bay nicely.
Yep shame about this weekend, but the whole car needs a setup from scratch as its way out of whack, the engine needs changing and the flatslides on the new engine need a dyno to get them setup. Unfortunately all too much to be done by myself after work during the week. Roll on Brands though Good luck this weekend all. |

loadsaaa.........anything but TOP after that weekend!!! Fix one problem, then another crops up! Can it get any worse than not starting two races?? Anyway, ill be back (eventually!) for brands with more TOP than ever before! Any idea how many will be at brands? Is Chris going to get his suite this year??

What happened, it seemed loads of drivers were having a hectic weekend? Not sure how many are at brands, should be over 26 though as a few could not race at silverstone due to problems. I reckon we could have 30 on the grid. I hope the suite is available again, it was just a pity to be driving last year with all that free beer and fantastic weather. If I hear anything I will let you know. See you all at Brands!!!!!

To be honest i'm pretty dissapointed in myself the way i drove, it was very unlike me.... suppose i was too determined... lesson learnt.... damage is pretty bad, upright wishbone mount front and back on the chassis bottom wishbone floor tray, loads of rose joints.... and humble pie for afters...
