Good job Nascar, FCKD up the race and half the field with the curbing. Cars RIPPED the curb up at 5 and half the field done with 5 to go
I'll amend that to screw you and the drivers for not staying ON the course. Constant cutting the corner and the inside curb and the corner cutting curb came up. Bryon has the bottom half of his car ripped off. Looks like oil and water made the corner slick. No NBC, Indy cars go AROUND that curb not inside the curb off track. Slow shots and guys are inside with all 4 and younger Busch sister broke it last lap completely straight through Last edited by broadrun96; 15 Aug 2021 at 19:53. |

What a glorious sh*tshow lol.
I'd just remove the curb completely for the final laps. |

They already removed the outside curbs there because they can't stay within the bounds of the track. So remove instead of telling the drivers that's NOT THE FING TRACK aholes. Looks like they have pulled it, watch the straight line now and guys NAILING the sleeping policeman square to the corner. The 74 fans who would attend love that idea. It was over of the worst rated races of the year on the oval. Uh oh, man in short and tie using a broom. The track pres is running a broom |

I fully expect someone to fully SEND IT, even more than some already have earlier in the race, over that ramp/curb on the inside when we go back to green.

Penske has a chance to sweep all 3 races still, Blaney close to the front. But Larson lingering Storyline path isn't a thing for racing you douchebags. It's a race not TV soap opera. Poor Dale gets run over with the rest of the crap commentary crew. |

Larson had his entire race screwed by Busch not braking at all and shoving him deep in 1.
And rustyfan is the winner, not even 1 lap before smash. And NBC completely missed it They got it and McDowell got it and spun him in to traffic and took out another 10 cars. And another red flag, so we'll be done tomorrow afternoon at this rate The comments on Racer.com are gonna be GREAT. |

I didn't know "building momentum for the playoffs" included adding frequent flyer miles
I love this lol. |

McDowell wasn't hit or punted, he launched himself off that curb all on his own. |

Nah I get that but they saw yesterday what that “ramp” does when it’s hit, to leave it there or not seek a less violent solution is foolish imo. Of course you’re right to also say the drivers know it’s there, don’t hit it.

Chase Briscoe gonna get his ass kicked by everyone from Hamlin's team. That was GARBAGE, he missed turn 1 and then hit Hamlin to cost him. That's bush league at best.
The Dinger wins the road course and NASCAR left cars wrecked on track and let it play out. |

Feel kinda bad for Hamlin... but major congrats to Allmendinger!
Edit - Oooh, we might be in for some fireworks. Hamlin did not look pleased. |

I don't think they could take that one out though. And yup, if PROFESSIONALS can't miss it then honestly you deserve the broken car

Sorry, two professional drivers and not wrestlers. Cooler heads prevail in public. No matter how much NBC was trying to antagonize things with repetitive questions

That whole weekend was sh1t. Indy cars at Indy works.
NASCAR cars on that oval is boring as anything. The road course is utter garbage built for F1 and even the cars they built it for it produced a totally tedious race. Every time. NASCAR needs to get Indy off the schedule and get a proper NASCAR car friendly short track in it's place. |

Yeah, what he said up there.
And NASCAR not bothering to actually drive the track make it a joke |

I'm so tired of the single file crap. I bet we'll see the same during the Cup race.
Edit - Well, at least the last two laps were exciting. Last edited by rustyfan; 28 Aug 2021 at 18:14. |

I'd be very surprised if we make it to the end without another yellow.
Also, making this the last race before the playoffs is probably the reason we haven't seen as much single file coasting as usual. Pretty happy with the race so far. Edit - Had a feeling Blaney would win. Had one of the strongest cars left and lots of experience. Last edited by rustyfan; 29 Aug 2021 at 02:55. |

I'm still a huge fan of Darlington so I'm gonna watch a little this evening. Southern 500 on the correct weekend again and I like driving into the dark.
Hope it's a decent show! Bout to start some coals and consume a cigar and cold snacks. |
