Time to get yelled at by the forum but I don't care. The NASCAR Busch Clash just ran a night race on the Daytona road coarse. They had their track at full lighting. Cars had no headlights. No problems with visibility.
I would love to have the Daytona 24 be at full lighting. Require the cars to only run their running lights that are always on, not the night time full lighting. Would make it easier for TV and in person with no headlights glaring in our face and certainly on TV. |

Yeah, Mazda seems to be hurting. And hybrid isn't a marketing point for them, they don't offer one.

We can hope enough teams remain interested in the series, I’m sure the grid numbers will be decent enough that it will keep going

That's good, hope they can do a good job with those makes. They seem a good team and hopefully can add to the series

This article about safety car covers all form of auto racing, but IMSA's disgusting length of their SC periods at the Daytona 24 came up. The solution suggested at the end of the article is a rather obvious one. |

This may be incompatible with the IMSA ideals though. I do think they like the cars to be bunched every so often. |

I don't think they need to bring the caution out all the time. Just bring it out when it's needed. At least they have the VSC option now, so they don't to bring the actual SC out all the time. Obviously if there is a massive crash or torrential rain then bring it out, but not for minor things like debris or other things that can be cleared in less than a minute. Too many SCs can happen, but they should only come out if necessary

48 Ally car back for enduros for 2021. Wonder if they'll just keep the 48 for the season and PMR will stick with their 1 now.

Wow the Le Mans shifting is going to have a huge trickle down effect. I think IMSA better right now get the date at V.I.R moved up to May or June.

And now its later in the day. VIR has been pushed BACK to October. I don't agree with that. There was a gap in June and they should have put it there.

Possibly better to have held it in hand and await any announcements regarding Mosport on July 4. BUT running on July 4 was terrible for Indy at The Glen so maybe better to leave that for Canada and we can watch in the US |
