but i think everyone on here/Speedcafe/V8supercars.com.au is already aware of Valvoline etc, the general public watching an F1 race which happens to have these weird cars that resemble Commodores and Falcons as a support act may not...

In terms of corporates, glitz and glamour, crowd numbers etc.. the AGP has Bathurst covered. Overall though Bathurst & the AGP are probably as big as eachother.
Still don't see why just because its not a championship round makes it meaningless. Its still a motor race to be won afterall, doesn't make a difference to me as a spectator whether it pays points or not. If Bathurst was still non-championship (as it should be, given its a two-driver race in a single driver series), would you be pushing a Bathurst boycott because it didn't count for these precious points?? |
