What GTRMagic mentioned fits completely into the equation I would use too. It simply doesnt add up. So I suggest the witchcraft he mentioned may come into play.I would also add that for the owner of the team to drive for it a HELL of a lot will have to change there. I believe this team suffers from more than a lack of driver talent, but maybe a lack of personnel talent.

GTR surely mainy development series entrants run on a lot less than 8/13*1,500,000=$900,000 , okay yes with their rounds further apart.
Who cares if you are a little bit unreliable without needing to run around at 5,000 rpm. |

Its all checked out of coursr after each race, making sure the stressed bits arent cracked or broken... but its not like they chuck new bits under each corner like the richer main series cars do.... |

So, out of curiosity, does anyone know where to find comparable lap times between fernandez and owen/white from last year, on tracks that both series competed at?
How much slower was Fernandez to his main series counterparts? |

natsoft.com.au thats where all the times are |

Some of the hot teams put a nice fresh engine in the car each round in their #1 car, and farm off their engine from the previous round into the second team car or development series entry.... same with gearboxes and other "consumables" that wear out As for Britek... well engines have been their bugbear too... Bathurst saw them lose a couple, the #52 car with the misfire all day, and #25 running out of water.... not fun... |

Oi! I have a bone to pick with the "writers" at that Auto Fiction crowd
Get your own bloody headline. "Yes Way Jose" is mine, and was here first. Not for you to steal and put in your dishrag laughingly called a motorsport publication If it were the 1st time.. or the 2nd.. but this is like the kazillionth isnt it? Please send a commission to this website's owners to pay for its upkeep. Or I'll get Chris Murphy onto you! |

Congratulations Vanilla Dice - You have been GTRMagic-ed.... it has happened to him too!!
Despite their repeat denials, several of the AA boys come on here regularly. For those of us in the dark - who is Chris Murphy?? |

Chris Murphy is the solicitor of last resort. If you are guilty, he can make a fabulous case, and help the media along, to make you look sweet and innocent.

This was in my email this afternoon:
2006 Looks Bright for Fujitsu Racing Fujitsu Racing has unveiled its striking new livery for the 2006 V8 Supercar Championship. While last year’s eye catching design has received a slight makeover, the big change comes in the colours. The team wanted to improve on last years design and continue to set the standard for livery design for the category. What is sure to stand out significantly more both on the track and on television, Fujitsu Racing have opted for a Custom Fujitsu Racing Red and Ford’s popular Blueprint Blue. The team was unable to find a Red colour to match their strict specifications and so chose to have the Fujitsu Racing Red custom made. Complimenting the bright Fluorescent Red, Fujitsu Racing chose the new Ford Blueprint Blue over last years darker Shockwave Blue. The new colours complete the team’s metamorphosis from its inaugural year in 2005. Intent on continuing its rise up the leader board, Fujitsu Racing have started from the ground up in 2006 with both cars receiving a complete engineering rebuild to be rebadged BM001 and BM002, then came a full driver change with the naming of Warren Luff and Jose Fernandez who both fit in with the team’s requirements of experience, driving ability and enthusiasm. The changes have created a buzz in the team, all confident of great improvements on last year’s tough yet commendable initiation. From an engineering stand point both cars are now uniform in design, making them much easier to set up, drive and work on. Match this to the improved engine package the team has available this year and the Fujitsu Racing Ford BA Falcons are sure to be the cars to watch. And they won’t be hard to see. Continuing with the unveiling, the new and improved Britek / Fujitsu Racing website will be online from 5.00pm today, Friday 17th February 2006. The website promises to offer readers much more with team interaction and insight. Be sure to check out www.fujitsuracing.com.au today! This picture was also attached - I like it, though I think they should have gone silver wheels. |
