Yes Way Jose!
Somehow, somewhere, in a planet far far away.. it was announced that "Yes way" Jose Fernandez has been 'selected' by Britek to fill the #26 car in the main series.
Let me say that again. "...the main series..." Seems the boys at Dynamite couldnt come to terms with the Jewellmeister and the Britekkians, knowing they have to rock up with 2 cars of cop the Kelvintax of $150,000.00 per round (equivalent to one lunch with Jewellybaby), think Yes Way Jose will lead them to the front. I couldnt resist this. Its just tooooo funny. Top flight work there Jewellybaby.... Way to bring new sponsors and talent into the sport too |

If my maths is correct, this is the 31st car, meaning that one of the licences that TEGA control needs to come back into play in order to get their desired 32-car grid. Any takers for that one?

I hope they don't put the special $1,500 (yes, that is a commer) per litre paint on Jose's car, as he is likely to get most of it removed by the quick blokes in the reverse grid rounds

I don't see what all the fuss is about. What did you expect them to do? Its not like they can test, so why not have another of their own cars on the track if no other deals could be arranged...

Wouldn't you steer a car in your own team if you had the chance?? I think Jose has more financial commitment than just a paid steerer

They can just re name the team now to The Ian Luff Motorvation Team, both Britek pilots are former instructors there.

By my estimates... this team is a 7 figure number off the required budget to do the season with 2 cars... How does that work?

Well, that confirmes one thing, Seto is not going to be a full time seater for Ford, GRM is the only option and I think the water there has dried up for him. Looks like he might be hanging around car #4 and JC for Bathurst and Sandown

Well, the Lady has done the finishing note with Ford, Seto has no full dime seat in any blue oval cars . Bring back Seto, Bring back Seto

The Good Lady's 6 years studying at Moscow's University Of Operatics For The Union Of Working People have taught her not to commence singing until the absolute correct time.

Also it will be a lot cheaper to run Fernandez than to pay $150000 per round that they only show up with one car....

It is widely rumoured that Mr Tratt's Toll car in season 2005 cost $1.7m to run, with the Perkins equipe. Presuming Mr Perkins makes 10% profit on his car prep deals, then the cost to run a single car, would be in the order of $1.5m. So therefore a 2 car team would cost $3.0m to operate. If the powder room is right about the $1.8m... this squad is over $1m out of the money.... |

You can send Jose out in every session with an engine rev limited to 5,000 rpm so the car doesnt qualify... easily twiddled on the MoTeC by those that know how... and being L2, the team doesnt have to buy new tyres at every race either, so they could run the same 4 Dunlops all year...
