I was disappointed by the Villeneuve and the Montoya fans booing at me in Montreal but I blew them kisses in return. My tifosis were out in strong force at Canada also. It is a strange thing in Quebec that some of them yell (I think) - "You're the guy, you're No.1" but use the middle finger to indicate No.1. In Europe we are using the index finger for this.

didn't Damon Hill receive death threats at Germany in 1995?
Jordi:

I know there were many Schumacher fans wearing "Kill Hill" shirts at the German GP that year.

There was also another interesting moment for Damon Hill that weekend, while on the track on the Saturday a spent firework launched by one of the Schumacher faithful landed in the Williams cockpit.A little to close for me I'd say.

"I know there were many Schumacher fans wearing "Kill Hill" shirts at the German GP that year."

Does it help if i publicly SLAM this kind of childish and moronic actions??? Really, i think its stupid!

The same to other fans who do it to any other drivers they dislike... i mean..what's the point?!!

Was MS booed at before Austria this year?

I didn't watch Jerez 97 but I think he was booed at there after tangling with Villeneuve because they all knew he did it deliberately. I'm not sure though.

He should look at NASCAR... Jeff Gordon has been booed for no reason really 5 or 6 years now and he doesn't say anything...

So what if spectators boo at him, no one in this world could win the heart of everyone. Even presidents and prime ministers have oppositions who dislike them. So be it if some fans dislike Schmuacher and boo at him and the way he deals with does people is entirelly up to him.

What's the big deal?

TGF is making the big deal about it. He's acting like a spoilt brat - 'no-one likes me, boo hoo hoo'.

Get over it (directed at TGF, not anyone here!)

Actually, I believed he was ASKED for his comment and he was TRYING to DOWNPLAY it as just the home crowd showing support for their home boy and help "boo" his opponent.

Who's making a BIG deal out of it? Look no further than the thread orginator.

From Collins dictionary:-
poop n raised part at the back of a sailing ship.
I also remember a song that went something like "too pooped to pop" meaning he was fatigued.
So Glen, are you very tired? or are you telling your crew to go to the back of a sailing ship?

no real reason?

gordon gets booed and hissed and spat at all the
neckcar tracks........

because he's the only driver that isn't a second cousin
of all the other drivers and fans..

the don't call neckcar a family sport for nothing.

yep, of course, but Mark Martin isn't a redneck and has no brothers in NASCAR and is not booed.

Schumi gets booed three consecutive races, and uh, oh, uhhh!
