Sketchy day with interruptions and messy track. Reynolds not doing himself favours, MSR's newbies probably cost them a shoot out berth, Davo's hit was a monster, and very nice of Nick P to stop and check on him, knowing of prior accidents. Payne keeps rising to the top. Jeez it was close though.

Hard to believe people cry about parity with these incredible margins. Don't know if Waters is good or lucky...

It would be the pain of any team to have to pull an all nighter on this weekend. Sunday afternoon fighting to keep the eyes open and still trying to operate at 100% as a pit crew. Long long day for sure for some. I bet more than a few guts hit the floor. You get so physically and mentally tired with trying to operate at a very high level for so long, you really just want to vomit.

If anybody wants to complain about Skaife, try listening to the guy doing the Repco podcast videos or the guy alongside AVL. Previously I would have never missed AVL but this other guys is so utterly banal I can't even get through one episode of anything. Wish AVL never went to the dark side.

To think the teams prepare their babies in nice clean workshops, making their lists of work to do and checking it twice, three times and more… only to end up in a shed in a country town using a gas axe to chop, heat or reshape what took a couple of years of careful development to create…

Not having to repair heavy damage like this. Work that would take a week or two back in the workshop to repair. Then heavily sleep deprived and having to pull off Sunday. They will be behind the eight ball for the rest of the weekend now. Maybe a little easier for bigger teams to manage team workload and rest time. If you have only two or three people running a car for a weekend makes it a lot harder. Working in that kind of environment heavily sleep deprived is hard work.
That will be why Supercars have set a curfew. Tired people do silly things.

Man these two in the commentary box need to learn the "art of saying nothing". They constantly yabber about rubbish when they don't need to. Just shut the hell up. Cromley has got even worse then Skaife now.

I miss the old "gold card" days where you could pick up the sat feed and just watch.
