JD Classics
I think most of the Masters saloons are owned by people who race in a lot of other Masters series so they can drive them all on the same weekend. Unlikely to enter them for a one-off race I would think.
I am sure i have seen pictures of the Rover before, it was a Special Saloon. The CSL in the pictures is Nick Whales / Ian Guests old car. The Escort is Mark Smiths car raced in Masters last year or two. UFO Capri, I recall one originally racing but not sure if this is it. Looks very nice though. alex |

Not too sure on the Rover,I wonder IF it is one of the originals, one is in Australia, the one in blue looks very familiar.

Sorry to bump this one out of kilter, but when's the next scheduled meeting for the JD Classics?

I suppose this thread needs re-opening as any series aiming at next year is probably in the planning now. clearly a few of us are pushing the new 50s Sports and GT series, and MGCC have their Iconic cars of the Fifties race. anything else?

Be a bit out of date if you started it with the original title why not start a fresh one for 2012, sure you would get better response.

I'm thinking of starting a thread about Group A cars in the UK and Europe that would be available for the JD Classics series....
There is a lot of hardware eligible that needs the right encouragment to come out and play. I guess the owners want certain guarantees about risk and competition etc.... |
