RT - Is Yvonne Yvan's wife? :-)
I can't believe TWR is chancing it again with two euro's in the same car. Mind you the circle work in the rain during the 2000 event was most entertaining |

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by Priaulx. He seems to be the goods - in everything he races. I'd dare say he's the best international driver to come out here for quite a while.

Although Menu did a lot of laps of the track at speed in a familiar car before he stepped up into the V8s... even then, he didn't get a chance to bugger up in 1998 with Mezera.

How do you know Matt Neal won't be at Bathurst this year? I know that he is keen to get a seat.
Stop bagging him. He's a great driver. Well done Yvan. |

He has done very little in Australia though, and who would want him with some of the drive-less talent floating about?
Even ST Bathurst 1998- Neal was driving like a goose. Under no circumstances should you go rubbing panels with other cars at the start of the second stint- that's plain stupid. |

Mac.....how wrong you are. There are so many better drivers than Priaulx. Plato, Muller, Neal and Menu. There are heaps of great European drivers that could do well in V8's. Priaulx is okay but he is nothing super special.

C'mon let's not get started on Matt Neal again. The guy is a retard.
a) Bathurst 2000 - Dumbest thing I've ever seen done on a race track b) Oran Park 2001 - Destroying brand new VX Commdore IN A PRACTISE SESSION no less What more proof do you want ? Stay in Europe please Mr Neal. Last edited by Buckshot; 29 May 2002 at 00:12. |

it's a pity we don't get more euro's out here now, i just watched my copy of Bathurst 1982, and during the telecast Evan Green say's that the oversea's drivers for that year was pretty poor compared to previous years, in 1982 there were 7 overseas drivers.
I'm with mac, although Priaulx still has to prove himself in the races, from what he did at the test and scoring pole in his first BTCC race, he looks like he'll do well. I hope Menu gets a seat, in 2000 he was the only overseas driver to be competitive, he was doing a great job, what seats are left in the Holden's, maybe Opel could lien something up for him. |

Michael H - I think there would be a language barrier (Larry's not Alain's)!

Okay, i have nothing against Priaulx (honestly!) but he only got pole in his first touring car race because everyone else had success ballast. With that being his first touring car race he was runinning no ballast what so ever thus his car was lighter than anyone elses. And mac what i mean is exactly what you say.........what you have heard about him is good........but....like i said there are many better that haven't got so much hype. I mean he raced in F3 for years before he won a race.
