British GT: Embassy Racing announce driver line up
Just read on a crash.net exclusive that new team, Embassy racing have signed Paula Cook and Alan Booner to drive the teams new Corvette C6. http://www.crash.net/uk/en/news_view...d=14&nid=82754 Now I know Booner from FPA - and I think he had a few podiums although Im not sure how he will adapt to a Big GT car, and Paula Cook well her experince speaks for itself. Will be intresting to see how Embassy get on next year.

Sorry Graham - but I didnt realise this was a spelling contest. Besides, u obviously knew who I meant anyway, so does it really matter? BTW Graham - what are your thoughts on Embassy's choice of drivers? Personally I think they will compliment one another quite well.

ah it is worth pointing out for the record BTW does anyone know how to change a light bulb http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...2&pagenumber=1
Anyway, it is good to see deals being sorted well before the season. A healthy series? It should do well next year. |

Yeah Adam I agree - Im looking forward to the series next year, planning on going to at least 2 events next year, obviously the Silverstone round with the LMES - and my local round at Thruxton (hope I spelt Thruxton right for u ) and perhaps Brands Hatch, will be nice to have the big GT cars back - the Moslers and TVR's are very good dont get me wrong but they dont quite have the same appeal as the big Saleen's and Listers and Vipers have. The series is already looking sure to be stronger than 2003 in terms of entrants, now what we need is a few more confirmations in the GT class - if we have maybe 6 or 7 GT class cars I think we can consider ourselves quite lucky.

I hope to do Silverstone, for the same reasons. I didn't get to do a GT round last year.
The C6 should fair well IMHO. |
