are they still running this? i did a few races on the stowe circuit back in 99 with the jrrs..and would like to do a few more
that was in a zeus chassis, just wondering if they still run a similar low cost series and non championship races |

the series does indeed still exist, and its thriving really. theres talk of them running separate races for van diemens and for zeus's as theres enough people to fill two grids.
i raced in the winter series last year. contact silverstone drive to find out more. |

Yes still going strong. There are going to be several scholarship drivers next year, so competition will be hot. Two from the BRDC who are selecting them from Stars of tomorrow, one from Tim Sugden's competition and one from Silverstone's own scholarship competition that starts on 11-12 December.
The Van Diemens are presently available for testing on the Stowe Circuit for £225 + VAT or £800 + VAT on the National Circuit, the latter is only open to graduates of the race intensive course. Call Silverstone on 08704 588212 to book a test slot or for more details on the championship. |
