Groupe M Workshops blown up
Porsche races Groupe M whos workshop was next to the Buncefield Oil terminal have been serverly damaged in the explosion at the weekend. But luckley the cars where still in Bahrain and thier race transporter was away have work done on it...

Wow thats really bad news, still at least the cars and the transporter werent on the premises at the time I guess, could have been worse. Lets hope they can get everything back together in time for the 2006 season.

Wow, bad news for sure. Insurance will probably cover it, but it'll still damage their preparation for the next season I suppose.

I was going to make an insurance scam joke, but it just seemed tasteless.
 I hope GruppeM are able to get things back together in a timely fashion. Kenny Chen has sure put together a good young team, it would be a shame to have this set them back. |
