My idea about "graduation" from the BTCP grid.
Why don't BMP set up a prize fund for the prodution class, where by the top team (or 2) by the end of the season gets a cash payment to fund the team for next year, but in BTCT instead of the BTCP field.
They could award them X amount of cash in order to 'turn' their production car into a touring car, upgrading all the mechanical gibbins like gearbox, engine etc. |

Yeah, but in principal its an excellent idea. But of course that would cause resentment from the already curent private BTCT teams (e.g. ABG, JSM). However, i think plenty of BTCP teams will make the jump next year anyway, like Barwell (already seen the plans) and GA-Janspeed.
