Van Diemen Formula Renault RF94 front wings
Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase new or used (but in very good condition) front wings for a Van Diemen F/Renault, RF94?
We've contacted Van Diemen but haven't had any luck. |

we have one of these in my uni, i don't think we had any luck sourcing a replacement so we made our own, turned out to be at least 60% more efficient

Hi Fan,
Good luck with your sourcing, we have a VD RF94 which I have been working on slowly over last few months. Haven't thought about spare bodywork as yet but sounds to be difficult from what I have been hearing. Have you tried a putting and advert out? http://www.motorsportads.com/ Also try one of my contacts Kevan may be able to help: http://www.racecarwarehouse.co.uk/index.php Other than that I will keep my eyes and ears open and keep in touch. Good luck |

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll give Kevan a ring and will also look at the F4 website to see if there's an alternative front wing which we can use.

Hi Fan,
Hope Kevan can help you out, tell him JP from The College of West Anglia sent you to him for help, he will appreciate that. Best wishes with the wing! |

HI
I have a front wing off my FF2000 (which is now becoming a FF1600) that I am sure will fit the bill... Let me know if you want details. i has all the bits and pieces you need - there is also a F4 rear wing and a VD F4 diffuser kicking around if interested... |

Another F/Renault question, albeit it not about wings: What road car was the old '93/'94 1700 engines based on?

I'm sorry that I didn't see your message earlier. We've sent the wings off to be re-skinned. I'll speak to the owner of the car regarding the wing and diffuser.

Our FRenault now has a F7R D 710 16v engine in it with a Megasquirt ECU for good measure! This engine was used in the Megan Coupe. The Renault 1700cc 8v engine you refer to as far as I am aware is from the Renault 19 (and gearbox). Some have been seen to put a Laguna 1750 engine in! I hope this information helps? JP |
