New tyre rules
As advised by the "Championship Manager" this morning, I don't undersatnd how they can impose such restrictions after the regs have already been MSA approved and after the season has started.
I though such changes could then only be made if all competitors agreed? Not that I would use more than the prescribed number of tyres anyway, but I am concerned at the way things are going re: "management" of FF1600. |

There's another thread on this, and it applies only to CFF (Zetec) I believe.

The reg that has changed is 5.13.4. Quotes from the regs, that hasn't been changed by Bulletin 1:
"REGULATIONS 5.13.4 TO 5.13.9 ONLY APPLY TO FF1800 CARS." So it is true to say it does apply to all Club Formula Ford rounds, but only if you are in a FF1800 car. |

Why make rule changes clear and understandable to competitors when with a little less effort you can make them as clear as mud?

Agreed - why did he forward them to FF1600 competitors? Pretty obvious there would be confusion.

As it now appears to be FF1800 only, why wasn't that made clearer to start with. Storm in a tea-cup. |

The email ought to have said, but anyone who actually looked at the regs in conjunction with the bulletin would have realised...
