[V8SC09R11&12] Dunlop Townsville 400, Townsville, Queensland
So... the inaugural Townsville 400! With its not-so-multi-purpose pit building (
 ), a new track, no previous experience, it comes down to who can learn the track the quickest, and who can set-up their car quickly and efficiently.Who's in with a chance? Is Caruso likely to continue his good form? Or will it be a 888-fest in their home state? |

The SP Sport Maxx Sprint tyre can only be used at Winton, Symmons Plains, Hidden Valley, Sandown Raceway, Queensland Raceway and Barbagallo Raceway.

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place.

so far this year we have had 4 street circuit races and the same Guy has won all 4, I cant see him losing

its meant to be finished before then, but it would be open to appeal by Triple 8 if it goes against them.
And if the part is legal then we have to decide how to deal with the part in the future |

Imagine that conversation with the other half... "Yes we are going" "Yes we're staying up there an extra week" "Yes you can buy a new dress for the wedding" "Yes I am spending the weekend at the track....."

Well, there was not a cloud in the sky today with just a bit of a breeze. It's been more or less the same all week. It's usually pretty dry up here this time of year, but we do tend to get the odd bit of rain.

and even though this is off topic, stealthy there is only one list. 2008 is over and people have not been posting list for ages. GTR did an updated (but now possibly outdated list) last week and the previous list (also by GTR) was over a month ago
Both list are realistic lists, with some guestimates in there) now back on track and lets talk townsville. Did i mention jamie to dominate |

Will Mr Bright be debuting his FG in Townsville? There hasnt been a press release from Britek from the Hidden Valley round, and no chat in the motorsport press about it for a little while...
The 'magic' day is Wednesday, where the financial year resets... are they not confident the deal will be done?  hrug:
