Euro F3000 runner Zlobin to be offical test driver for Minardi...
According to crash.net. Although Minardi has admitted the contract has yet to be signed, it also goes on to say that he will probably not make it into the driving line up as he has failed to shine in Euro F3000 so far..... http://www.crash.net/news_detail.asp...9&language_id=

Hey Mr. SFonseca it looks like he is the first one to pay his way in ???!!! He is sponsored by the world LARGEST gas company - GAZPROM (www.gazprom.ru/eng/default.htm) It can bring a lot of money to Minardi, so ... what is the problem ??? |

Yes, It's all true!!
I have no problems....the money is not mine! He is destroying is motorsport reputation, he has no experience to be a test driver. It's my point of view. |

Im afraid its true, it looks like the only reason hes there is because of the sponsors he brings with him. Lets just hope this dosent start a trend or it will be really damaging for the sport in the end, I think.

When they take a Russian Driver, than please take Roman Rusinov. He is pretty OK. Zlobin is slower than Yoong.

Frankly, who cares?
If it is going to mean Minardi survive, then I'm all for it. As for starting a trend, where have you been for the last 10 years. What do the names Yoong, Bernoldi and Moneybags Mazzacane mean to you? |

Zlobin might not be a great driver, but he has to be a decent kind of driver just to make it in to International F3000 of course his cash has a big part to play in him getting his seat but lets not put him into the dumpster just yet. Give him 7 rounds or so to settle down start working with his engineers and then see how hes getting on, it takes a while to really form a great working realtionship with your engineer after all.
Ok he might not set any records but he might not disgrace himself either. |

If I needed a Russian testdriver I would take Viktor Maslov. He is not very quick, but is very consistent and has good technical feedback. As far as I heard. Or I am wrong :-)))
