Bugger. Yea he got pole - good on him, was a good effort.
Dixon ended up 5th. I suppose it will give Scotty something to really fight for now. Just hope he finally gets the car hooked up, sound like it’s still not right, and what has happened to Weldon the week? Danica, that will give the other thread something to talk about for a while Qualifying top ten 1. Franchitti Time 01:16.7017, speed 107.951 2. Patrick 3. Kanaan 4. Castroneves 5. Dixon 6. Hornish Jr 7. Hunter-Reay 8. Andretti 9. Rice 10. Wheldon |

I believe Dario will win and Dixon will have trouble and cement him as champion (well he needs cementing down so he doesn't flip ) because this year could be written as a Hollywood film for him, what with winning the Indy 500, suddenly becoming a consistent winner and contender in this series, then flipping twice dodging death and then bouncing back.

Qualifying is one thing. She needs results right now. She has come close a few times this season & has been unlucky at a couple of races, but she has still never finished higher than 2nd since FFord & no higher than 3rd in IRL. A good result could work wonders for her. Another bad result, dropping well away from the high quali position, will do her no favours whatsoever.

My dish was supposed to be installed today, but the guy hasn't showed up yet. So I'm forced to listen to IMSRN on IndyCar.com

yeah, I'm on that, at least I just saw the replay, other than the replays though the video is pretty worthless.

Crazy few laps then.
Dixon should be black flagged for his blocking today, swerving and later forcing Kanaan on the dirt like that. And Dario tipped Marco...No radio comunication, I don't think you can blame Andretti, it wasn't Dario's fault either as he was there and had to pass. I am suprised Marco made up so much ground. |

Well this sucks. Dario dominated this race. Oh well, each Sears Point IRL race seems to change a lot in the last faze of a race and it's certainly got exciting in what was an unexciting first 60 laps.
This caution really will help him out, I just hope Helio has a go at Dixon! |

That was quite funny seeing Kanaan hold up everyone. Oh well have to hope Dixon gets a dnf at Belle Ilse.

I'm unsure who was at fault there really. Marco must have known Dario was close and must have been aware of the team play situation.
But Dario seemed a bit panicced in his move. Total disaster and look who is picking up the pieces again. |

I guess if Dixon wins the title atleast he hasn't made any notable mistakes.
Just looking back at those blocks, Dixon should have been black flagged. |

I don't see why Dixon should be black flagged for blocking. This is motor racing not Champcar.
Still, I suppose Dario did well to limit the damage with that cruddy front wing. But at one stage he was sitting on a 21 point lead. |
