Indy 300 Accomodation
Does anyone know where I can find info on the on-track accomodation offered at the Indy 300? I'm thinking of buying a grandstand/on-track accomodation package but can't find any further details on their site.
Has anyone tried it before? Is it worthwile or would I be better off arranging my own accomodation? Thanks |

Not sure of your budget but if you can afford it get accomodation that overlooks the track. I have been to the ANA Hotel and its great to sit back and watch from the comfort of your room.

That is an almightily wussy attitude GTR
I wouldn't mind staying at the back packers, but we normally crash at southport opposite the hospital, 2.5 minutes from the track on the back of a bike ey |

Wussy perhaps, but means I have the choice of all manner of relatively inexpensive hotels in and around the city of Brisbane... instead of paying overinflated Indy-special pricing.....

I think we wind up paying about $400 for the week, which aint too bad, esp considering what the price of petrol will be like come October

The MSI circuit looks different- plenty of elevation change and a "switchback" climb to the start/finish line. Have fun!

Will do Matt Racer, does anyone have a link to this MSI Kart track?
My problem now, is Ive gone from having 10 or 12 good mates, to about 1000 best buddies!!!! The amount of nudges Ive had on my shoulder is driving me insane!!! People claiming that taking them will repay the 20 cents I borrowed for lunch money at primary school and so on! And here I was thinking that the fan heater I won in a golf tournament was my luck for the year.... I better give a plug to the Holden Performance driving centre on the Gold Coast too.... awesome blokes and blokesses!. Plus If wine was the only type of alcohol in the world then Sirromet would be my choice. It will be a killer trip with Bathurst, then working for a week, then the Indy... I so don't deserve it! |
