Proctor or Bellerby I'd have thought.

So what happens with the 307 now? Keep it for British and Irish events or sell it on?

All that work on the 307.. is there a reason for 'dumping' it?

I think that say's it all! Would need alot more development to make it a prov en contender is it worth it.Far better cars out there far more competitive than the Pug,First year in the ERC and i guess George wants a car to challenge the others and be a serious contender for next year,Maybe briggs could buy it? must be a better choice than the clio.
Think Mr Tracey wanted a new car something different to start his campaign in the 2007 ERC and has now seen that its a lost cause.

George certainly has an enviable collection of cars - I for one am glad he uses them in anger (especially the 6R4 and RS200). I think George has realised that to get the 307 to be truly competitive it will take a lot of time and money - far easier to get a car that's already proven.

As far as I aware there are only 2 C2's at the moment, Olivier Boussards is new this year cant see him parting with that? only other possibilty is Hansen's nephew Magnus and dont think thats up for grabs. As its says George has his eye on a current front running Div1a car

I really hope it works out well for George. I feel a little bit nervous for him as Anne has been struggling for pace with the car recently and it's not as if Anne struggles in the driver ability department. Fingers crossed...

Its quicker than the xara so theres a plus, also the winter months to adjust and prepare the car should be a good combination for the start of the 2008 ERC,hopefully a few outings in the UK wouldnt go a miss! a new shape to the rallycross scene

Car-wise the Anne team has build an unbeatable Xsara in the French championship, build the C4 with ultra low engine placement and rebuild the C4 last winter in a new chassis to get optimal results. In this compartment, it can never be a bad buy, its absolute top-equipment.
And Anne struggling with pace? please don't forget its his first season outside France, he is learning the tracks. As is George, so give him some credit. I see a European autocross champ with absolute top-material arround the same spot as Tracey each round, so its not that obvious these days to drive into the finals.

Actually a triple European AX champion (2002, 2004 and 2005; and in 2003 he was the runner-up to his younger brother Radik)… However, from my point of view an European AX champion nowadays is max. a potential Division 1 'C' finalist in the ERC, no matter what car he is using. German Rolf Volland, also a former triple European AX champion and a very good as well as a clever driver, made it into the 'A' last Sunday in Poland. And that took him many a year. Yep, no question – the ERC grapes are hanging very high these days!

Yep, correct! See news no. 630 (18.08.2007) of ERC24: "Procter buys Tracey's Xsara"
