He's definitly one of the best young drivers in the championship. Good to see him getting a run out in one of the Halfords' Civics today as well ( maybe as a pre-curser to Eurotech running Civics next year? )

It'd make sense for the Jordans to get Civics - the Integras are BTC spec not S2000 (how much longer will BTC spec be allowed to run?). Not only that but the Integras are getting a bit long in the tooth now and surely there's not a lot left in the way of development potential.

I think they will only be allowed next year, but I think they won't be an attractive proposition then. Either BMWs or Civics for Eurotech?

My theory behind this is either a. Eurotech will be purchasing Civics from TD. b. Andrew Jordan may get a potential 3rd seat with Team Halfords at later rounds in the season. |

Chilton is safe due to the money he brings to the team so is Shedden for that matter, as said more a case of them looking to purchase the cars for next year with Mike having good connections with Dynamics.

2009 Mike Jordan Plans
I thought maybe today would be a good day to 'speculate' the Jordans plans for 2009, seeing as the entire team is today for sale in the back of Autosport, three Integras for £80,000 and £70,000 each X2 or whole team for £250,000.
So, is it Jordan jnr to Halfords or new cars all round? Mind you, his mobile number is on the advert......................maybe we could find out for sure Simon |

Sounds a bit similar to this thread, albeit with new info added.
Andrew Jordan The speculation around the future of both Jordans and Eurotech has been brewing for a while now. |

the thing is if they sell the whole team and then pay TD to run Andrew that is just one year unless they honestly think he is works material (which he isn't IMO).

That is one of the issues with that plan, maybe it will be new civics then occasional drives as suggested on the other thread
maybe a merge |

But I prefer Mike and Andrew Jordan will drive their Eurotech cars also next year. Maybe they can switch to the TD Civics. Last edited by FIRE; 15 Aug 2008 at 09:54. |

Is it just the cars they are selling then, or the cars + trucks and tools ? Just to clear that up.

I think so long as A Jordan can raise the £250,000 required for the drive next year he will replace Chilton at Dynamics, sponser wise there's little space left on the cars at the moment which looks a mess!.
£250K for the team is a bit Over the top, whilst the Integra is still a good car it is only at the sharp end with the Jordans this year. Personally I would hope they are trading up to this years Civics from TD which may support the test A.Jordan had in the car, to lose Mike from the championship would be a great loss. |

It's £250k for the cars and spares. That's not the whole team. The cars cost £220k together, then that's £30k of spares for them.

It would be a real shame, though i would actually say perhaps somthing along the lines of a Leon or even a BMW would suit the Jordans better the Civics can be a tad fragile, that might not suit the battling style of the Jordans, same as how it did not and does not suit Neal or Chiltons nurfing style.

My tuppence worth
Met Andrew Jordan on saturday evening @ BTCC Knockhill after they were part of a drivers firum which took place. He seems very aproachable as does his father. I would like to see the Jordans still as team mates next season |

Andrew and Mike Jordan already know what they are doing next year.
It will be good to see Andrew back in the BTCC in 2009. |
