Well, I'll save my vote unless anything spectacular happens in the next few minutes, but it's looking like a 3. How disheartening to see another disappointing new circuit while the likes of Spa and Silverstone struggle, and the likes of Imola have lost out altogether.

A motor racing horror show - the equivalant of a football game ending 0-0 without either team creating a chance. Its all down to the cars as the GP2 race this morning was relatively exciting with lots of passing. Lets just pray next years rules improve the spectacle - I'm not sure watching 57 laps hoping a Ferrari engine blows up is what I call entertainment!

I could only vote 1 - short of someone being injured or killed, it can't get much worse.

I turned it off at about lap 40 to watch a repeat of a Harry Potter film with my nephews. I need to find a new hobby.

2 - one point for each overtaking move I can remember seeing during the race. I was fairly hopeful after watching the GP2 that there was some scope for overtaking, but the field spread out so quickly that the race was doomed from about lap 3.

such a shame that after the hype it ended up being so bad. Yesterdays GP2 was boring, todays GP2 was ok, probably due to a few drivers just going for it. Unfortunately the Grand Prix was dire, which is disheartening. I give it a 2. Can't get much worse

3 - No fault of the venue, F1 is just boring. The track does need a little work on the layout...

I consider myself something of a die-hard F1 follower, but I actually switched the TV off with about 10-15 laps to go. Absolutely appalling. Still, Spa and Monza are next up, so hopefully they'll help to relight the fire.

a real yawner. voted two only due to the pit lane activity and a few incidents in the back of the race.

A dire 2, the Ferrari pit dramas and first lap midfield jossle saved it from a 1 score. Even the camera work was dire. No real sense of speed or anything with the camera work today, which just made it even more boring to sit through. Poor show.
Thank god we are back to a traditional venue next. P.S. Who ever voted 10 - what race were you watching?! :-P Last edited by dazbaz_99; 24 Aug 2008 at 15:47. |

Well Valencia didn't live up to the hype at all, a race on the old Valencia circuit probably would have been better then this! I honestly think this is one of the most boring races I have ever seen, even worse then Barcelona. At least it looked nice... It's a dejected 1 from me. |
