Aaron slight is well was a World SUperbike racer - race winner in the past and major likable hero in bikes - lots of weird hairstyles i seem to remember he was a bit of a nigel mansell of the bike world if you like in terms of excitement off the track and a little like eddie irvine off it wow thats like a perfect combination - i cant quite remeber how his bike career ended but im pretty sure it was cos of an injury or illness he raced in the tourist trophy a few years back in a honda accord i think it was a did ok
he will draw a few extra punters |

Ta very much - as soon as you mentioned Super Bikes I realised that the BBC interviewed him during the Silverstone coverage. D'uh Mark WAKE UP MAN!!!

Another BTCT car-excellent!
Another crowd-drawer-excellent. Despite some obvious bad points and teething problems, this years BTCC is getting better and better! Well, i think!

Aaron had a brain tumour removed that was fairly serious, he recovered very quickly and was back out on his bike so quickly he amazed everyone. He finished the season off but didn't perform outstandingly and so at the end of the season surprise surprise, Castrol Honda announced that they would be replacing him. I think they should have given him a chance and kept him on cos he's a star....good luck to him at Donnie!
