Spectating at General Testing, Oulton Park

Hello,

I didnt really know were to post this, so i thought i would post it here as i feel i would get a response from here, basically im hoping to head to Oulton Park tomorrow for the general testing after my 9 o'clock lecture, im just wondering if you are allowed to spectate, take pictures etc, im going on Saturday for the BARC meet but i want to get some practise in with my photography because im a bit on the rusty side after the long winter.

Your best bet is to contact the circuit directly. Details on the Motorsport Vision Website.

Pretty sure you can. I have seen people spectating at general testing at Snetterton and taking photo's.

I doubt you will be able to get beyond the normal spectactor areas even if you are a certified photographer on test days.

Rule of thumb is that the main gate is open all day, and you'll be able to wander around standard spectator areas and paddock.
However, there is never a guarantee so I would double check with the circuit before you have a wasted journey.

Hi guys, thanks for the info, i rang up before going and the people at Oulton said it was fine to spectate and take pictures etc, i had a brilliant day, the Pink Mitsubishi Lancer that was present was an absolute beast of a thing, sounded like a 1980's rally car, all roar and chattering twittering turbo
