MSNZ and Cams Working together?

"Trans Tasman opportunities
A meeting between CAMS and Motor Sport New Zealand (MSNZ) representatives occurred on 11 May 2009. This meeting resolved a range of issues to be progressed between the parties in the interests of creating seamless TransTasman arrangements.
The purpose of this meeting was to: identify, explore and prioritise common issues that would benefit from a unified approach by the organizations; and
establish a pathway and plan to address the issues between the organizations.
The overarching strategic objective is as follows:
For CAMS and Motorsport New Zealand to work in partnership to streamline the approach taken to the sport from a Trans Tasman perspective, aimed specifically at increasing participation in a more seamless and simplified manner.
Issues discussed and now being pursued by the parties include:
a.
Common licensing systems and visa arrangements
b.
Category Frameworks and standardised sporting and technical regulations
c.
Trans Tasman Cup and other awards
d.
Regionalised opportunities:
i.
Asia Pacific Rally governance and associated arrangements.
e.
How to pursue seamless participation across the Tasman (e.g. shared rounds of championships etc.)
f.
Opportunities for resource sharing and unified programs:
i.
Development of Institute of Motor Sport Safety and joint research projects
ii.
Road Safety programs and initiatives
iii.
Development of Motor Sport Environmental Strategy
iv.
Driver development programs

v.
Officials training, accreditation and development programs
vi.
Safety strategy and programs
The outcomes of the work between the parties on these issues will be published in future editions of Speed Read. "

This was published in the latest cams volunteer speed mag.... I hope it works as I went from being a gold level grade in NZ to a grade 4 in Australia.. and slowly working back up to the gold level *unline slowly*

I guess it would make sense to work together.

I found CAMS though to be a pain in ass and unhelpful, while Motorsport NZ has always been very helpful and easy to deal with. That's just my experience.

Hmmmm currently you don't need a Visa to visit NZ, CAMS steps in and then you do! (I know, I'm just being petty :-)
