The Regis Rally
The Regis Rally, now in its seventeenth year as an historic road rally, is the penultimate round of the Richard Egger Insurance HRCR Clubmans Rally Championship. It is, once again, organised by the same team of experienced competitors and we will be continuing with our successful event format.
The start and finish for this years event is The Brookfield Hotel, Emsworth, Hants www.brookfieldhotel.co.uk conveniently located close to the A27 and M27. We have put together a 135 mile route in West Sussex and Hampshire, with timed to the second regularities, interspersed with special tests on private ground for the benefit of the drivers. Marshals could be found in a quiet country lane enjoying the sunshine and a spectacular view or in the excitement of a special test venue where competitors manoeuvre around cones against the clock. No experience is necessary - you can assist and training will be given Our chief marshal Neil Worsfold would be delighted to hear from you. Contact him at marshals@theregisrally.co.uk Every Motorsport event relies on volunteer marshals - we value our special people who give up their time for the enjoyment of competitors. All marshals will receive a 'goody bag' on the day as our way of thanking them for helping to ensure that the Regis Rally is again successful. We can take Marshals for AM, PM or All Day BUT PLEASE let us know in advance. www.theregisrally.co.uk |

Entry list filling fast.
Some very interesting cars that you would not normally see on a rally Volvo's & Merc's for instance. We will still take marshals for tests around lunch time at Goodwood/Tangmere if you can help. Do an hour or so see nice cars, grab a goodie bag and go home happy. Please let us know in advance so we don't drag people on the day. Thank You. |

WE’D LOVE YOUR HELP PLEASE!
The Organising Team of The 17th Regis Rally need your help please, now there are over 40 entries from all around the UK. And, having secured three new test venues they need lots of additional marshals to man controls and supervise the special tests. Start & Finish is The Brookfield Hotel at Emsworth with 135 mile route through the West Sussex & East Hampshire lanes. This is the longest running event included in every round of the HRCR championship since its inception. Bognor Regis Motor Club is proud to host The Regis Rally. This is the penultimate round of the Historic Rally Car Register’s Richard Egger Insurance Clubman’s Rally Championship, so we’re all in for a great day of Historic Club Motorsport. West Sussex may be very used to Classic Cars with Goodwood hosting the Festival of Speed and The Goodwood Revival, but there is a whole world of other motorsport activities taking place around the area throughout the year. If you are able to assist morning and/or afternoon please contact our Chief Marshal Neil Worsfold on 01903 873752 (before 9.30pm please) or via marshals@theregisrally.co.uk alternatively contact Pete Penycate Deputy Chief Marshal on pete@circuitmarshal.com It doesn’t matter whether you have previous experience as training will be given. Come prepared with Suntan lotion and wet weather gear, wellies and sunshades. Every marshal will receive the famous Regis Rally Marshal’s Goodie Bag (which could contain an additional marshal’s raffle prize). Plus all volunteer marshals will have the chance to win either a subscription to Classic & Sports Car or Octane Magazine! So if you fancy finding a nice quiet country lane to lurk in – or alternatively wish to experience the excitement of a special test then give Neil a ring. For more information visit www.theregisrally.co.uk or www.bognor-regis-mc. co.uk |
