Trash Michael Schumacher "Here"
C'mon guys, in a recent thread someone (I think it was EERO) suggested Michael was evenly represented in this forum. Of the last 40 threads, 9 are currently trashing him. Do we really need nine threads for the same people to argue about the same garbage at nausiam over and over and over again?
Recently the Touring car forum (everyone should visit them by the way ) was split in two. Maybe we should split the F1 forum into "Formula One Discussion" and "Trash Michael Schumacher Forum". So for your convenience, here is a list of all the current "Trash the current WDC" threads. Is it possible to keep them all in one place? I doubt it. 1....thanks to Bertrand Gatchot 2.The 1994 Schmacher-Hill incident 3.Where would TGF Place on This Grid? 4.Nigel Roebuck on Prost v. TGF 5.Dammit Eddie !! 6.About Senna/Schumacher conflict 7.The Official 10/10's Anti Schumacher Thread 8.Why Is TGF Overpaid? 9.Why TGF has not yet won 50 Grand Prix... And there was probably another started while I was looking this stuff up I'm not sure about others, but it is very frustrating (even for those that don't like him I suspect) to wade through thread after thread of the same stuff looking for something worth reading. I know we have to fill in two weeks between every race, and human nature makes us want to trash someone, but my suggestion is that AMoffat is the perfect substitute. So enjoy people, trash him here to your hearts content. Can you just do it here, please |

Actually I think you'll find that the majority of anti MS posters are over 35 years old. From their perspective he's not a sportsman and therefore should not be ranked with the greats. They probably have the same opinion about Senna.
What is rather tedious is the denial that is apparent when any just critism is levelled at the man. He definitely cheated in two WDCs but one cannot deny that in 94 he won it after missing three rounds cheating or not. That must surely mean something. Its really a question of perception. Either you want to watch sportsmen competing for the championship or you want to watch a ruthless winner. |

All the trashing of Michael just adds fuel to his legend so really the anti-schus are their own worst enemy.

What's really funny is the latest method of attacks using the 'what if' scenarios. If that's not clutching at non-existant straws then i don't know what is.

Wrex, please recognise that there are quite a few people here who may not be fans of Michael Schumacher, but who readily admit his immense talent, BTW, I'm 42, and felt the same way about Senna. |

Admin has deleted threads that are duplicates of other threads, why is this topic the exception? I thought I would save everyone a little time by giving them a dedicated thread to rant on to their little hearts content |

No worries mate - thats what it's here for. None of us wanna wade through endless threads of the same thing.
I wonder what would happen if there were 9 different "I love MS" threads going at once? |

And like Valve, now that everyone here knows my attitude towards TGF (That German F****R), I can now go about my daily business. BTW, I am amazed at how many people support Ralf? Is it because he's just a nice guy. I think so. |

Im 20 and have been watching F1 since I was on solids (seriously) since about 1983-4.
I even remember when Mansell's tyre blew up at Adeladie in 86'- one of my earliest memories. I was a big supporter of D Hill, and I disliked M Schu because they were rivals. Again like many Hill fans I felt Damon was cheated out of the 94' WDC, and he should have been double champion in 96'. |

Wrex, man.
What do you want ? Do you hope to convince us that TGF is the greatest ????? I don't mind if you shout to the world how much you love him and praise him as the greatest driver in the world. That's your opinion and I don't think any one here are interest to change it. No matter what he does from now on, will change the minds of people who watched his career without the blindness of a fan. That's simple, no questions about his skills and qualities, in the other hand... |

I must agree with Peter Mallett, however I'm 70 years old and was fortunate enough to meet many of the drivers now retired.
TGF (I subscribe to f1manoz interpretation) is probably one of the best drivers ever to grace the GP scene. His skill in handling a car is never questioned. His ability to wring the last bit out of a car is also well known. I admire his driving skill but that does not mean that I have to admire his personality. I'm afraid that TGF has severe personality problems but since I'm not a Dr. of psychology I will not attemt to define them. On of them fine days another driver will do to him what he does to others and we will have one hell of an accident. |

BTW, I'm 42, have seen F1 for decades, and dislike and despise TGF not only as a person but also as a driver: I've never seen that supposed skill, but only cheating, cheating, cheating all the way. He's the most false and constructed WDC I've ever seen and, if not for the presence of JV, I for sure shouldn't have followed the trash that F1 is today. That's all, but I'm sure you all know my sentiments on this matter |
