Defined the final standings, it's turn to show the general stats of the season, a report about the progress of the forums, and the WINNING ATTITUDE ACHIEVEMENTS of our concursants of the Competition of this year.

Ramblings about forum progressions in the 2009 F2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition:

Ten-Tenths: Was the only forum which showed real interest in the Competition and that provided the most of players. As a result, was the complete dominator, winner at most of the rounds, Champion holder in the figure of WSR Fan and has the highest scorer in a round in Albeckinho. Being Forum Champion wasn't a surprise with it...

ClubF1: This Spanish forum was the best contender to Ten-Tenths as showed some users interested in the Competition, at least at the start. The best concursant of the year was myself, and kamikaze666 did some good scores at the final rounds.

GlobalF1: This forum reduced its participation to only one user: JB-F1, who was the only winner from other forum than Ten-Tenths. His value honoured the presence of this forum on the Competition, frankly.

Thef1.com Actuality forum: This forum also showed an only player, melendi, who lost interest at mid-champ and then the forum hadn't any representants for the rest of the year. Hopes to revive the interest there were unsuccessful, despite it was a Spaniard the driver who took the real F2 title.

In an aftermath, the season showed some interest at the start, that declined severely after the first few rounds. It managed to survive with about 8-10 users for the rest of the season, that was important considering the general interest that new promotional series had into public. Decline in prediction competitions in general also tampered F2 TWPC. But after all, we have to show gratitude to many users who trusted and put consistence to participate in this Competition.

After the experience with this new competition, 2010 is elusive in chances of continuation. Probably it will remain on Ten-Tenths only, perhaps it will be discontinued. At least, it was worth the effort, to show how a non-GP2 prediction competition about other promotional formula could raise interest on people.

Woo hoo, brilliant stuff!

After the first race on Saturday I thought I was in with a good chance of taking the title, but to see it confirmed in black and white is ace!

As always, a big thank you to Mekola for organising and running the competition all year and to all the other round winners and participants. If the competition runs again next year, I'll be there to defend my title
