Eh, never mind. It was a very good session. Jamie was fast enough to take a pole. In fact he was too fast and made a mistake nearly at the finish. Pity. But Phoenix team is looking very strong to make the race more interesting. And Susie is 12th - no rain. She's really better than Ralf. I wonder why Rosberg-Audis are so slow.
Paul di Resta is the fastest. Bruno Spengler is near, Mattias is 3rd. And Green is 4th but was able to beat all HWA pilots again. Last edited by helgi; 5 Jun 2010 at 14:59. Reason: typing too slow |

Nice to see that Coulthard is starting to get to grips with DTM machinery, hes done a good job to get ahead of Paffet! Nice to see Stoddart doing well again, considering shes in a 2 year old car shes doing a great job. As for the winner tommorow I have to say id be betting on Spengler once again.

So what happened to Paffet to see him knocked out in Q2?

Dunno exactly. In an interview between periods he didn't sound very happy but gave no excuses, not good enough and, we'll need to figure it out, I think he said. The official party line:

Katherine Legge needs a good outing, and soon I think. |

David is not a very good DTM starter yet, so it'll be rather difficult for Gary, Martin and Oliver who start behind him. They're lucky because start-finish straight is rather wide there, so there'll be more space to manoeuvers.

Most boring race ever? Must be close contender. Nice one for Susi.

It was much better than you can usually wait from infield-tracks. At least Winki had some brave moves. It's pity that Eki's race was too short. The event was not as boring as Valencia was.

Are Sky Sports still showing delayed coverage of the DTM this year? Seem to keep missing it if they are. Shame about the pit stop for Di Resta but good to see Spengler doing well once again. Nice to hear that Susie had a good race too, sure she benefited from the chaos at the start but going by the race report ive read it sounds like she continued to hold her own throughout the race keeping Tomczyk and Paffet in sight until the end is no mean feat.

Also he needs a slap over the head for trying to loop the car back around while the field was trying to go around him. I know it's not a nice position to be in, facing the wrong way with everyone trying to get by. But moving your own car in that moment makes accidents much more likely...I'm sure Coulthard would have missed him had Ekström stayed where he was.

Maybe it's just an 'inertia' move. I mean not mechanical but mind. I don't think that the racer of such a high level don't understand that it's easier to avoid a contact with still standing object.
