Hugh Hayden RIP
The sad news has just reached me that Hugh Hayden, principal of Team Sebah, passed away on Saturday.
He was a top bloke and will be much missed in the world of sportcar racing. Condolences to Bart, his son. jb |

The news just reached me too, a heart attack from what I understand.
He was a much loved figure within the sportscar fraternity, and yes, a genuinely top bloke. The sport has lost one of the good guys, he will be sorely missed up and down the pit lane. My condolences to Bart and to all family and friends who were close to him. James |

Hugh Hayden RIP
Very Sad News about Hugh, sincere condolences to Bart & Claire and Hugh's family in their tragic loss.
He was a great Guy, we had some very enjoyable times with the SEBAH team back in the late 1990's when he ran our Superlight for Mark. His wit & wisdom will be sadly missed. David |

Very sad news and a great shock to his family and the team. It is a difficult sport in which to keep such a deep involvement and we are all the poorer at the loss of a stalwart. Deepest sympathy and good wishes to all.

Very sad new indeed, our visit to the rebellion pit in Lemans 2009 made me appreciate the dedication that he had for sportscar racing and he will be missed.

Yes Simon, that was my thought too. I don't believe I ever met Hugh but our visit in 09 made me an instant Sebah fan.... A very sad loss.

What a tragic piece of news. I fondly remember DSC's tales of the travails of the 'Old Lady' in taking back-to-back LMES titles against much newer machinery on the back of Hugh's investment and passion. Sportscar racing needs people like that - bonne chance to Bart and Rebellion in 2011, I hope they make him proud! RIP.
