Caterhams, other sports cars, saloon cars. No idea if entry lists are full yet but they usually are by about this time.

It's a good meeting. My brother driving again this year - just hope we have a less disastrous time!

Latest news is that there are 15 Sports Car entries and 19 Saloon Car entries. While this is healthy, still plenty of space for some more - and at £100 for 45 minutes of track time, it is something of a bargain. Click the link above for details - entries are being handled by BARC Midlands and need to be in by 12 December.

What's the local temperature?

The sun is out and melting ice here but no sign of melting in the shade althougn in the last hour the weather gadget icon on the PC has moved from -1c to +1c.

I think 'll take a gamble and not de-ice the gutter into which the boiler's condensate runs. For the last few days it has been freezing before it has had a chance to run away. 24Hours output fills an 8ft gutter run.

Should be going this year, never been to one, but this gives me a chance to try out my new camera equipment before the complete off season kicks in.

I'm about 20 mins from Mallory and the roads are clear even if there is a smattering of snow everywhere else; not been *THAT* bad here so far.

Watch it tip it down

It was dangerous 2 inch thick ice in areas of the paddock last year, I do hope you dont get that again as you literally could have ice skated on it and with a lethal layer of snow over the top wouldnt be nice at all.
