Ford Escort Rallying Photo - Is This Real?

Apologies if this is the wrong part of the forum to post this in, but I've just seen a photo on Facebook and its really piqued my interest. The photo in question is this one:

Some elements of the picture look slightly out of place (as in the picture might be a photoshop), but I guess this could also be caused when the image was transferred to digital format.

My question is this: has anyone seen this picture before and do you know if its real or not. If so, who is the driver?

Have certainly seen a picture like this a long time ago, it left a dent in my memory.Have a feeling it was in Motor Sport magazine, possibly BjornWaldegaard driving (not sure)

Thanks for the info! Did a bit of Google searching and I've also found this image:

Looks like it might be the same corner? This also points to Björn Waldegård being the driver. I couldn't find any pictures of Waldegård's car with the livery from the first picture on it though.

Sorry for the double post, but it seems the picture is real! Driver was Mário Silva, co-driver was Rui Bevilacqua, the event was the Rally of Portugal 1982.

POO505R Wasn't that registration also used on Roger Clarks Red Cossak Hairspray Escort (or was that POO504R?).
Tthere were certainly a string of POO5**R registrations used on the works Escorts.

Think I've found "part 2" of the original picture:

What's up with those photoshopped "numberplates"?

I'm not sure if those are photo ID's of some sort?
