MRE Formula ford FF1600
Hi All
I raced in pre 74 and classic formula ford years ago in a bright yellow MRE. not a bad car horrid in the wet. I just wondered if my old car is still around. There was one other MRE racing at the time. Any info gratefully recieved. Marcus. |

Marcus
I remember it well. in the wet was the best result it had in Wales. There was the other blue one driven by a farmer who was going to set the world alight John |

MRE FF-p1-73
Dear Marcus,
I found this thread whilst looking for info on the car as I am now the owner of said MRE! it is now dark blue and have just started racing it again after a few hillclimbs and sprints over the last five years. i had my first race at oulton and second at Snetterton the last two weekends, so am still learning. As I'm an engineer I do all the work on the car myself so would be great if you had any info on the car or if you just wanted chat about it's history. all the best Calum |
