has successfully defended his ama 250cc moto x championship with 1 round remaining.....
no doubt about it, the man (20 years old) is a superstar  2001 : ama 250cc moto x champ 2001 : ama 250cc super x champ 2000 : ama 250cc moto x champ 1999 : ama 125cc moto x champ 1998 : ama 125cc moto x champ 1997 : ama 125cc moto x champ it would be great to see ricky race in the world championships, but he is taking his number 1 plates to american honda next year  , and wait for it, is gonna have an aussie as his team-mate  , lots of luck to you michael byrne

yeh, did hear that, this weekend he will ride 125cc in final round at steel city (cant think of the rider who's got more wins
 ) - the 125 title is up for grabs between grant langston (ktm-2000 125 world champion) and mike brown (kawasaki).....do you think ricky will pull over and let mike brown win, i presume they are team-mates this weekend  ..... i hope langston wins to add the ama title to his world title

mike brown won the championship by 15 points (459-444) after grant langston failed to finish moto 2
......ricky carmichael did race and finished 3-1 , dont know if he got the 125 winning (most races) record or not
