You shouldn't really do this to a BMW E30....
The Sandown historics has got most of the attention in Victoria over the weekend but there was also a race meeting held at winton which had the Winton 300 supported by Super Trucks, SuperTT, Minature Racers and the BMW E30's.
It had been a nice and quiet day with Practice, Qualifying and a few races on the Saturday until the start of the second last race of the day. http://youtu.be/GqigpWAEhmo Suffice to say the driver walked away but the car wasn't so lucky. |

Not wrong there Trev, or is it Trevor these days
Viewing other vision available Safety 2 pulled up 7 seconds after it stopped rolling and Safety 1 pulled up 8 seconds after Safety 2. The car ended up on it's head, the driver got out by himself and the only straight panel I could see was the boot lid |

Tap in the left rear, forcing the front up on the inside ripple strip and the rest is seen in the footage, the ripple strips there are quite high.

I don't want to pump up their tyres too much (after all, they do have a big weekend coming up) but not only were recovery crews on the scene quickly, the ambulance had been scrambled before the car had finished rolling. It was a very good response, and a damn good practice for this weekend I think.

Yes the driver in 2 should have lifted and cleared a little but old matey lurched for the apex and pretty much did it to himself. He could have left the car width on the inside and lived to fight it out over the remainder of the race. |
